City Of La Puente & Project LEAD

Students from around La Puente are stepping up to leadership thanks to Project LEAD (Life Experience about Democracy).  This partnership with the city council of La Puente encourages students and families to have a greater role in and understanding of the democratic process.  HLPUSD and the city of La Puente provide students with opportunities to participate in our community's government.  Throughout the year, students, families, and educational partners participated in a variety of events that educated, engaged, and empowered the current and future voters and neighbors.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, City of Industry

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department partnered with our school and other local protection agencies to help us plan informational assemblies and our safety plan.
